R.I.P. Michael Jackson

Hearing the news of Michael Jackson's death hit hard for me. It as almost like he was apart of me in some way and losing him felt like a part of me was gone as well. It's weird b/c I did not know him personally, many of us didn't, but losing Michael did feel like losing a close family member to me. I cried but not much but that doesn't mean I wasn't hurt as much as anyone else. I grieved with my heart for him. I've never felt this way for any other celebrity or entertainer ever. He was my idol, my inspiration. I learned so much from his music. Like a lot of things I know today I first learned from him. His music touched me and made me feel a way that no other entertainer has made me feel. How could just one person have such an impact on the world, on millions and millions of people. He brought people together with his music, he's saved peoples lives and showed them a better way. The messages he portrayed throughout most of his songs were of peace, love, and being as one. And then on top of him having The Best music, he was The Best performer that ever lived. From his incredible dance skills to his stage presence (sp). Grown men would scream and cry for Michael like girls when he would perform lol.

Without MJ most if not all of the artist that came after him would not be doing what they're doing. Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Usher, just to name a few out of many. He's the sole reason and inspiration that I want to become a entertainer as well. And then he had such an impact on all the generations. Like every generation has been impacted by Michael the same way as the other generations. He's The Best, The King of Pop, there will be no one better than him ever.

Especially since his singing and dancing styles will be displayed constantly through current and future entertainers to come. So his spirit will live on forever. Even if the new, new generations like the ones living in the 3000's don't even know it. They'll be doing Michael Jackson steps and singing styles and won't have a clue that it was MJ who did it first. Well hopefully they will always know and remember MJ.
